OIL SEPARATOR ACCORDING TO UNI EN 858

DESCRIPTION:
"GAZEBO" STATIC OIL SEPARATORS, prefabricated in VRC, are made in a single piece from RcK > 400 Kg/cu.m. concrete, vibrated in metallic formwork and hardened with steam, reinforced with internal ribs, rough-faced, with total elimination of porosity and gravel clumps, with an internal framework of enhanced-adherence steel and factory-checked electrowelded FeB 44K square mesh, the entire structure compliant with Category 1 anti-earthquake laws.
These oil separators are fitted with internal pipes and joints in PVC, and are complete with oil floats, separated oil sections and coalescence filters in open-cell expanded polyurethane.

PROCESS:
The module for separation of non-emulsified oily substances of mineral origin is based on the difference of density between these substances and the liquid containing them. Oily particles of lower density therefore tend to rise to the surface (phenomenon of flotation).

INTENDED USERS:
Companies, public and private authorities.

APPLICATIONS:
The main use of these separators is at small repair workshops, places where vehicles are washed occasionally, vehicle dismantlers, filling stations and in all other places where oily substances are used.

ACCESSORIES AVAILABLE ON REQUEST:
Internal anti-corrosion treatment, covers resistant to vehicle/pedestrian traffic, manhole covers, perforations, special materials (stainless steel and others).

PEDESTRIAN COVERINGS ARE PROVIDED WITH B125 CAST IRON OR GALVANIZED STEEL PLATE INSPECTION MANHOLES
LIGHT TRAFFIC DRIVEWAY COVERINGS ARE PROVIDED WITH C250 CAST IRON INSPECTION MANHOLES
HEAVY TRAFFIC DRIVEWAY COVERINGS ARE PROVIDED WITH D400 CAST IRON INSPECTION MANHOLES
THE MINIMUM THICKNESS OF THE FOOTING SHALL BE 20 cm. THE FOOTING SHALL ALSO BE REINFORCED WITH DOUBLE ELECTROWELDED STEEL MESH, diam. 8 mm., mesh 20x20 cm.
A 3-5 cm THICK SAND LAYER SHALL BE PLACED ON THE FOOTING TO LAY THE PREFABRICATED STRUCTURES
