| Vertical Flow (sub-superficial vertical flow) Phytodepuration System |
DESCRIPTION:
“GAZEBO” VERTICAL FLOW (sub-superficial vertical flow) PHYTODEPURATION SYSTEMS are made with a pre-fabricated monoblock welded tight vibrated concrete or geomembrane (to place it inside an excavation with a forced section) with internal microperforated pipe system to distribute wastewater, perforated draining pipes to collect wastewater, loading well with electropump equipped with INOX AISI 304 recirculation line and cast iron ball check valve, stand pipe and final sludge return with internal devices to adjust level, ornamental plants, electric control panel and control of installed devices.
TECHNOLOGICAL CYCLE:
The treatment system includes a wastewater pre-treatment stage (e.g. static degreaser, Imhoff tank) and a natural biological stage (secondary treatment) carried out by a vertical sub-superficial flow phytodepuration system (vertical liquid flow) made up of a watertight tanks filled with aggregate material and a macrophyte superficial vegetal cover.
Wastewater loading is carried out from the top, with a discontinuous feeding managed by a submergible electropump controlled by a switchboard provided with pause and work timers. The sludge slowly percolates through the bedding and is collected towards the collection system placed at the basis. The vertical flow phytodepuration system fosters the development of aerobic processes inside the medium, differently from horizontal flow absorbing trays and beds, whose water level is slightly below the surface.
Such wastewater treatment system is easy to manage, aesthetically pleasant, at low energy consumption, green and can be completely integrated with the surrounding environment, so as tu guarantee maximum evapotranspiration.
